Bigger and Brighter!
Those are the two words that pop in my mind when I think of the upcoming Spotlight Gala and the future of Nebraska’s kids.
In 2012, over 500 supporters helped us commemorate our 25th Anniversary at the Spotlight Gala. As we look to the next 25 years, we plan to keep building our event, just like we have been building our organization. We are returning to the Embassy Suites in La Vista on September 21st for the 2013 Spotlight Gala. We are honoring some truly amazing award recipients and we are fortunate to have a passionate honorary family in David and Nancy Jacobson. Our core team of dedicated volunteers is back with bigger plans than ever before. In short, we are upping the stakes.
The heart of the Spotlight Gala is to shine a light on children and those who seek to help them every day. Just as we are innovative in our advocacy efforts, our team is getting creative to take the 2013 Spotlight Gala to the next level. Look for exciting one of a kind auction packages, inspiring student art, and a Board of Directors pulling out all of the stops to make this event really shine. We could not tell the story of Nebraska’s kids without our volunteers. With the help of our sponsors and supporters, the gala committee, and our board members, the 2013 Spotlight Gala should truly shine. We hope you will join us in making the future a little bit brighter for Nebraska’s kids!
