Young Adult Internship Program

Voices for Children also offers college-level or other continuing education internship opportunities for older students interested in data, research, policy change, and building their advocacy skills. These internships are typically structured to run the length of a semester, align with a student’s academic interests, and be flexibly structured while working an average of 10 hours per week.

Young adult interns may perform work on research projects, assist with advocacy and public policy, help with youth and community outreach, and/or provide general office support. Interns work directly under the supervision of a program manager.

The young adult internship program comes with a stipend of $5,000 for a semester-long/six-month commitment, which may be paid in monthly installments.

Applications are open this fall for the 2026 spring semester.
