November Youth Leadership Council Meeting

Voices for Children in Nebraska’s Youth Leadership Council (YLC) is an advocacy group that meets once or twice a month. YLC is open to middle and high school students interested in creating change, learning more about policy, and their role in the legislative process.

Participants hone their self-advocacy and leadership abilities while taking action on issues affecting their communities. Young leaders gain the skills to drive meaningful change through hands-on experiences, like testifying at public hearings, meeting with representatives, and shaping policy ideas.
