2026 Youth Policy & Advocacy Camp

Voices for Children in Nebraska’s Youth Policy & Advocacy Camp is a unique opportunity to engage young people in the legislative process, empowering them to become advocates for their communities and futures.
This two-day, free event is held annually during Omaha Public Schools’ spring break and brings together youth participants from diverse backgrounds for an afternoon of advocacy training followed by a full lobby day at the Nebraska State Capitol. Youth participants meet with lawmakers, learn about the legislative process, and speak out on the issues that matter most to them.
No prior advocacy experience needed, but spots are limited, so don’t wait to register! More details coming soon.
