As a past VforC Board member, I truly believe in your mission. The recent disaster in state child welfare presents a perfect opportunity for you to help build a better system. Liked your article in the Fall issue of “Child’s View” but it did not focus enough on getting top quality DHHS leadership. You tolerated the lousy past leadership for far too long. Now advocate for selection if new leadership with proven SUCCESSFUL track-records and the ability to lead us out of the current mess. The person at the top is absolutely critical! Why not put together an advisory group of proven successful CEOs to help. May have to be one to recognize one. I know you will never give up. Kids are too important. Thanks for always trying…..
