Spotlight Video Series: Adolescent Brain Development

Children and youth are continually growing and developing, even through their teen years. Although adolescents may look older, as anyone who has raised a teenager can tell you, that they are far from being adults. Adolescents may push boundaries and experiment with risky behaviors. Sometimes these behaviors get kids in trouble with the law. Knowing that their brains are still developing and that they still need support and guidance, give both parents and policymakers a better idea of what it takes to keep our children of all ages safe.
